Lotus Cricket Club is NYC's home for competitive, community-driven cricket. Players of all backgrounds. One shared passion.
Lotus Cricket Club was founded by New York-based players with deep roots in the local cricket communities. Our mission is simple — unite cricket enthusiasts from every background, build genuine connections, and grow the sport we love in one of the world's most diverse cities.
We bring together players from South Asia, the Caribbean, the UK, and beyond — united by cricket.
From seasoned club cricketers to first-timers, everyone gets to play and develop.
We build friendships that last well beyond match day. Cricket is the start, not the whole story.
Compete in local NYC leagues across the tri-state area. Regular fixtures, structured standings, and real competitive cricket every weekend.
Structured practice sessions for batting, bowling, and fielding. Coaching support for players looking to sharpen their skills.
End-of-season dinners, watching parties for major tournaments, and social cricket. The club extends well beyond the boundary.
Organized friendly matches against other NYC clubs and visiting teams throughout the season for all skill levels.
Play across New York City's parks and cricket grounds. Experience the unique energy of cricket in the five boroughs.
Club kit provided for match days. Equipment support available for players who are new to the game and getting started.
Whether you're 8 or 48, never held a bat or just need to brush up on your technique — Lotus CC runs structured coaching programs designed for both young players and adult beginners. Our coaches bring patience, experience, and a genuine love of growing the game.
Tailored for players aged 8–17. We focus on the fundamentals — batting stance, bowling action, and fielding drills — in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. No prior experience needed.
New to cricket as an adult? This program is built for you. Learn the rules, the techniques, and the culture of the game in a relaxed, non-intimidating setting alongside other beginners.
Already played a bit but want to improve? Open skills sessions cover specific disciplines — batting, spin bowling, pace bowling, keeping, and fielding — run by experienced club coaches.
